Jeju-Do New 7 Wonders of Nature

2nd Wish List: Jeju Island

Jeju Island, also known as the “Island of the Gods,” is a popular vacation spot for Koreans and foreigners. It remains the top honeymoon destination for Korean newlyweds, but i still want to go here although im not going for honeymoon. Moreover Jeju has been selected a New 7 Wonders of Nature. I know about this beautiful place is from my forever favorite drama series Boys Over Flowers. Jeju is a paradise for nature lovers, boasting interesting rock formations, pristine beaches and breathtaking waterfalls. Jeju island is readily accessible by air or by ferry from Busan, Tongyeong, Wando, Mokpo, or Incheon.

Hyatt Regency Hotel, Jungmun Beach.
Hyatt Regency Hotel was the place where they are staying for filming BOF
Meanwhile, Jungmun Beach has a sandy shore so fine that it is called Jinmosal. 
The white sand beach is 560m long and the water has an average depth of 1.2m.

Other interesting places to visit
Jusangjeolli Cliff
 cliff is a spectacular volcanic rock formation at the southern coast of Jeju Island.

Jeju Folks Village
travel back to 1890s, by visiting the Jeju Folk Village Museum.

Jeju Glass Castle
 a glass art theme park featuring an exhibition hall, garden and models all made entirely out of glass

U can find a lots of lighthouse in Jeju Island. 

Hallasan National Park [UNESCO World Heritage]
Rises up proudly from the center of Jeju Island and is perhaps the island’s most memorable landmarks. 

The Beach and Wind Turbines
here is the island where you can see beautiful beaches and powerful wind turbines.

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak [UNESCO World Heritage] 
Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago
