List & Prices of Guesthouse in Myeongdong/Namsan/Hongdae Area

Oh! Blue Guesthouse

Ke Korea Ka Kita?

Pfftthhhh..April is just around the corner and what?? we havent book any guesthouse yet.. Currently, Im focusing finding our guesthouse. Myeongdong, Namsan or Hongdae area is priority. Why i make those booking thing so silly. Why i didnt book it earlier. Atleast 4moths ago. So we didnt get this pressure too much, if we settle the guesthouse earlier. Now, there u are ejay..serve u right!  At 1st place, Moon booked Namsan Guesthouse but she havent update to them again since we got cheapest one at JIN Guesthouse. But...unfortunately, JIN guesthouse that we really want to stay & confident tahap cipan we can get it, now already fully booked!! I never tot we will face this hard to find guesthouse in Seoul. I've sent many many email to the guesthouse around Myeongdong & Hongdae area. But still now no respond at all. Why?? Why???
My 1st in the list is Kimchee Guesthouse. But seems it still too expensive. Although they offer me 10% discount. Single Room is about 45000won/night. 45000x9=405000 won (egual to RM1239). So we decide to find dormitory room cost around 12000-25000won per night/per person. Now still waiting for the respond. Because too many guesthouse that i've surveyed i have the list and the rate to compare.

Gangnam Tourist Information Centre

What’s particular about this “information center” is that it’s also an entertainment complex that will let you experience Hallyu (Korean Wave) in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with latest virtual technologies. Dress up like a Korean idol, watch exclusive videos and sing along to your favorite Korean tunes!

How to get there
Take the subway line 3 to Apgujeong Station and get out at exit 6. Walk straight for a few minutes and you'll see the center on your right, past the Hyundai Department Store.

Tourist Information
On the first floor, the center provides tourism information in English, Japanese, and Chinese. Tourists may get assistance with reservations, purchase smartcards for transit, or take advantage of its many facilities designed to make their visit to Gangnam hassle-free, including lockers, an Internet lounge, currency exchange booth, ATM and more. There is also a tour agency on-site where you may reserve a Gangnam tour on bus as well as hotels.

Hallyu Experience Zone
On the second floor, you can relieve your K-pop and K-culture addiction through state-of-the-art displays and installations that will allow you to experience the Korean Wave. Sets from popular Korean TV series and movies have been reproduced, and countless items and accessories that have been used by Korean stars will be available for visitors to use as props in their very own photo shoot! There is also a K-Star "Beauty Zone," where visitors can get beauty tips from Korean stars, a Hallyu shop for fans, and much, much more.

**This is the main attraction actually..hohoho

KCH: Happy Chinese New Year 2014!!!

Not too late for me to wish all relatives and friends Gong Xi Fa Chai. That’s the greeting many will say every year whenever the turn of the Chinese calendar. The important Chinese festival (aka the Spring Festival) marks the start of new life and the season of ploughing and sowing. The holiday is traditionally linked to honoring the household, heavenly gods and ancestors. Yesterday, China celebrates New Year’s Day on Jan 31.

As expected..The Spring Shopping Mall never disappoint their shoppers who going shopping or window shopping there. For this Chinese New Year eve of Horse Year, their concept is 'The Great Wall Of China' which located at the 1st floor of Shopping Mall (north Court). They decorated with lantern and of course The Great Wall Of China as the background prop as well.
