Glass House By Philip Johnson

Inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s Farnsworth House, the Glass House by Philip Johnson, with its perfect proportions and its simplicity, is considered one of the first most brilliant works of modern architecture. Johnson built the 47-acre estate for himself in New Canaan, Connecticut. The house was the first of fourteen structures that the architect built on the property over a span of fifty years.

Completed in 1949, the Glass House was the first design Johnson built on the property. The one-story house has a 32′x56′ open floor plan enclosed in 18-feet-wide floor-to-ceiling sheets of glass between black steel piers and stock H-beams that anchored the glass in place. The structure, however, did not impress Mies when he visited the house. It is said that the brilliant mentor to Philip Johnson stormed out in fury because of what he interpreted as a lack of thought in the details of the house.

De'BFF Time

It such a beautiful day.. I cant believe that we can spent time together like this again while everybody was busy..Rahmah with her course..Salmi with her work..Umi and me with our study..

We try harder to fix our time so that we can spent 1 day long together..From day to night..and it was super awesome!!

I never feel so happy like this..maybe they are my friends since primary school and we just met again at the age of 20's..and i can say this as fragile moment..

Acorn Jelly Couple History

Super Juniors' Kangin and actress Lee Yoon Ji played as a low-income college couple for the popular MBC reality show We Got Married Season 1 from December 2008 (Ep 39) to May 2009 (Ep 55). After their first meeting while passing the Han River, Yoonji remarks how she has always thought the waves remind her of acorn jelly. Kangin says he has always thought the same, much to her disbelief. It is later revealed in a radio interview recorded before they met that he was telling the truth. This was the first MBC variety show kangin did as a regular after the crisis between MBC variety show producer and SM company regarding Kangin job as host in SBS Super Junior Exploration of Human Body in 2007. As of Lee Yoon Ji, in the she same year she partner with Kangin in We Got Married, she also hosting the entertainment news program Entertainment Weekly on KBS.

Lettuce Couple history

Kim Hyun Joong and Hwangbo Hyejeong joined MBC reality show We Got Married, debuting on May 11, 2008 (ep 9). Known as the "Lettuce Couple" Kim Hyun Joong is six years younger than Hwangbo. Due to scheduling conflicts where Kim Hyun Joong start shooting drama series Boys Over Flowers, they made their official exit of the show on December 14, 2008 (ep 38). Having gained high popularity through their fictional marriage, they won MBC's Best Couple Award on December 28, 2008. To this day Hwangbo still has a huge following because of her portrayal of the perfect wife on this show. She showed a vulnerable side never seen before and has attracted many fans due to this.
