Hwang Ji An is spunky, curt, authoritarian, hard-charging and susceptible to having hysterical fits when she is under stress. Working harder and more passionately than anyone else, she was promoted to the position of President. But a one-night stand is about to throw a wrench in her immaculate and perfect life when she refused to do the abortion. Because this will be her first and last chance to get pregnant.
Park Tae Kang a high school diploma holder, works as a seller of counterfeit luxury shoes, and constantly runs away from the police during crackdowns on illicit goods. But he believes that he has to maintain his cool style. By a stroke of luck, he is hired by a chaebol firm as a shoe designer. Compared to the other designers, he has no training, experience or family money. Work becomes a challenge. On top of this, he finds himself entangled with Ji-ahn who is an older woman with a bad temper and ego.

Beside being entertained with Kim Sun Ah and Lee Jang Woo’s romance, we will be spoiled with a lot of shoes by I Do, I Do. As we know, I Do, I Do tells the unusual romance between high class shoe designer Ji An (Kim Sun Ah) and low level employee Tae Kang (Lee Jang Woo). And because the background store is a shoe company, the production team put maximum effort to make it believable. Just like the some stills of Ji An’s shoe closet. Producer filled it with 200 shoes, the cheapest was around 100,000 Korean Won (equal with 85 USD) while the most expensive was 1.4 million Won (equal with 1,200 USD). It cost 70 million Korean Won (= 60,000 USD) to fill that amazing closet. Moreover, all shoes in Ji An’s office and the shoes used in the fashion show in episode 1 were total 500 pairs and cost more than 100,000 USD. (newsen)
